If
a student needs to take medicine during school hours,
the office must be notified. The medication needs
to be sent to the school Administrative Assistant
in a clearly labeled container with the student's
name, name of the medication, exact dosage, and
the time it should be taken. This will allow for
students to take needed medication with appropriate
supervision. State regulations FORBID school personnel
from dispensing pain killers such as aspirin or
Tylenol. Please refer to the Board Policy Manual.
