My name is Mrs. Rone.  I received my undergraduate degree in Religious studies and Liberal studies from Notre Dame de Nemur University in Belmont, California.  I was also the captain of the Notre Dame de Namur University basketball team for three years while attending school.  During school, I was a teacher’s assistant in a 3^rd grade classroom.  I was also a basketball coach for a 4^th grade class.

I received a graduate degree in teaching from Notre Dame de Nemur University in 2005.   I student taught in Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade.  I was a lead teacher in a 2nd Grade class of 35 students at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Belmont, California.  I then taught a K/1 split class of 25 students at New West School in J-6, Arizona.   After starting a family, I became preschool teacher for six years and a substitute for all grades for two years.  This will be my third year of teaching 1^st grade at Cochise Elementary.  I am also the girls' middle school basketball coach. 

       I teach because I love to see the reaction of children when they learn something new.  I believe that all children learn differently.  It is my job to find out how they learn and help them achieve their academic goals.
